How to use:
Download the app
Download the 4STREAM application from the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android devices. The application supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Chinese.First use and BLE WiFi configuration:
Power on the device.
Ensure your mobile/tablet is connected to your home network via 2.4G, with GPS and Bluetooth enabled.
Open the 4Stream app and wait for the device detection, which takes a few seconds to half a minute.
The 4Stream app will prompt you to check the indicator. There is no LED light on this Gaspump, so simply click the flashing indicator.
For Android devices, the system will ask for permission to use GPS data and file storage. Click accept to proceed. The GPS permission is set by Google for BLE usage. Once setup is complete, you can go to system settings and disable it.
The 4Stream APP will list all devices available for setup. Select the one you want.
The 4Stream APP will then ask you to choose the network for the device to connect to. Choose the device you wish to connect.
Enter a password for your network. If this is not the network for the device, change it to the desired one.
You can then rename the device. You can select a preset or enter your own.
Once you've defined the device name, it will appear in the device list in the 4Stream APP, and you can start streaming music.
Connection via LAN: Connect the RJ45 cable to the Ethernet port. The device will automatically connect to your home network and appear in the app within about 10 seconds. (Note: your mobile phone and the device must be on the same network.)
Bluetooth: To use Bluetooth, switch to Bluetooth via the 4Stream APP or by pressing the volume or mode button. Then, search for the Bluetooth device "SoundSystem_XXXX" in your phone's Bluetooth settings and pair it. If you changed the device name, the new name will replace "SoundSystem."
USB Audio: Power on the device and connect it to your PC via a USB cable. The PC will automatically detect a USB sound card, and when selected as system audio output, it will send the audio output to the device in digital form (44.1 kHz/16-bit).
Multiroom function: You can group multiple Gaspump speakers to form a multiroom/multizone setup in the 4Stream APP. Simply click the "+" icon on one of the devices and select other devices as slave devices. The master device can then stream and synchronize music with all Gaspumps (slave devices) in different rooms.
Firmware update: The app will notify you when new firmware is available. It is recommended to update the firmware when available, as it not only fixes bugs or improves performance but also adds new features or services.
Note: Setting up via WiFi requires some patience. If it doesn't work immediately, try again. When using Bluetooth-only, it's the simplest method.
If you're changing the Gaspump to a new network, restore factory settings first. This will save time later at the new location.
